APF energy TowerFilter™
Fine Dust Filters for Industry from 500 - 6,500 kW

The APFenergyTowerFilter™ are the largest types of our filter series and are used in biomass furnaces in industry up to 6500 KW. With their efficient and durable system, these types of filters are easy to maintain. In addition, depending on the system, they can be adapted with different versions.

APFenergyTowerFilter Feinstaubfilter für Industrie

The APFenergyTowerFilter™ was specially developed for use downstream of biomass furnaces to separate fine dust particles from the flue gas.

APF offers the APFenergyTowerFilter™ in various sizes for boiler outputs of 500 - 6,500 kW.

The modular design enables optimal space-saving adaptation to different room conditions. It also enables installation directly in the boiler house.

The following versions are available:
eTF                     standard version
eTFm                 narrow version
eTFd

for double boiler systems 2 parallel filter module rows in a common insulating housing, whereby the filter module rows are completely separated with regard to gas, high voltage and dust discharge and are each assigned to one firing. This solution avoids a common filter for 2 firings, which results in the following advantages: - Especially in Particularly in part-load operation, higher filter availability, as the filter size is adapted to the respective firing size - No safety-relevant gas-tight dampers required - Less space required compared to 2 individual filters

In addition, the filter types eTF, eTFm and eTFd are available with integrated impact separator or integrated cyclone and/or integrated economiser for waste heat utilisation.

Benefits of the APFenergyTowerfilter
  • in-house development the whole filter technology

  • higher total dust collection efficiency

  • Insensitivity to flying sparks

  • temperature resistance up to 250 °C

  • heated dust hopper in different versions (electrically or with hot water heated) to prevent condensation and increase filter availability

  • silent operation and automatic quiet cleaning

  • especially safer and perfect integrated bypass

  • variable ash discharge

  • very ow pressure drop and low running costs

  • modular design, problem-free installation possible for retrofitting

  • various special designs available: individual adaptation to the room height, room width and room length as well as the coarse and fine dust content
